This research study in Phillipine tries to answer questions like impact of modifiable factors like bystander CPR, Public Access Defibrillation, Decreased EMS response and early ALS on surival of out-of-hospital cardiac arrests.
The study found that 76% of cases did not receive bystander CPR. It recommends to increase community educational efforts in increasing awarness in importance of CPR in pre-hospital care either by bystander of other means to improve survival chances.
